Intergenerational Facility

Jōi is an intergenerational space fostering connection and well-being, inspired by Seichō—"growth with purpose"—and Rei—respectful mindfulness. Guided by organic forms and the Fibonacci sequence, the design balances inclusivity and harmony. Universal design ensures accessibility, while natural materials and biophilic elements enhance well-being. An educational garden supports intergenerational learning, and a central gathering space with a multifunctional stage encourages storytelling and cultural exchange. Jōi nurtures reflection, community, and lifelong growth, uniting generations in harmony.

Key features include interactive displays for self-guided shopping, custom fixtures such as a centerpiece handbag stand crafted from high-quality metals, and thoughtfully designed lighting that enhances ambiance and highlights merchandise. The furniture selection focuses on sustainability, comfort, and durability, further aligning with the project’s objectives. The space combines modern luxury with historical charm to create an accessible and welcoming environment for all patrons.
